I’m a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. When the volunteers at GAP take me out for a walk they always tell me how affectionate and calm I am. It’s not that I don’t get excited, I just don’t see the point of pushing this excitement to a silly level. I’m perfectly content to take things at a leisurely pace.
There is always a lot of talk between the dogs as to what we all want most in our forever homes. Some of the dogs say they want doggy companions, others want an owner who is home all the time and there are even some crazy folk who want to live with cats! As for me, I genuinely think I could be happy in most homes.
Let me explain, I like other dogs but don’t need to have one around to keep me company. If you did have a dog that would be okay, I get on fine with all breeds. I think I’d also be equally happy living in a home with or without children. If you have kids, great! There will always be someone to play with me and throw a toy, but if you don’t have kids that’s okay too. Please don’t take this to mean I’m a vanilla kind of guy, far from it! If you really want to put a label on it then I’d prefer ‘adaptable’. Hope to meet you soon!
