Greyhounds as Pets WA (GAPWA) is thrilled to invite all seasoned greyhound lovers and potential adopters to our Autumn Adoption Day on Saturday 11 April 2026. Get ready to fall in love!
Arrive at our Southern River facility and meet our adorable, autumn‑ready ambassadors eager to find their forever homes. Visitors can attend pre-booked adoption appointments throughout the morning, giving you plenty of time to fall in love with a potential family member.
As the weather cools and cute doggie jumpers come into fashion, it’s the perfect season to welcome a greyhound into your home. Autumn is all about warmth and snuggly companionship and our team is here to help match you with the perfectpal to suit your lifestyle. Our team will be right beside you with guidance and support throughout the process.
This event offers three one hour Meet and Greet sessions: 8:30am, 9:30am, and 10:30am. During these sessions, attendees will be introduced to suitable dogs with the intention of welcoming their greyhound home on the day.
Please note: If you have cats and/or young children, please book the 8:30am session. The dogs suited to these homes are very popular and will likely find homes in the first session. Dogs will not be held.
