Marble is a playful, super‑friendly and wriggly boy whose tail never stops wagging. This cheeky lad brings joy in big, bright swirls, much like the patterns in his fur. Marble is a social butterfly and could share his home with doggie ‘siblings’ of any size from a tiny Maltese right up to a Great Dane. Marble has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. His enthusiasm and zest for play mean he’s best suited to a home where all humans are nine years old or older and are ready to actively join in on the fun. Marble can stay home alone for up to three hours and with canine company and some training that can likely extend as he settles. One or two 20‑minute walks a day will keep his tail wagging, but he wants you to know that his favourite activity is toy time. Marble loves toys and will happily bounce, pounce and parade around with them.

If your home is ready for a swirl of affection, waggy greetings and cheeky charm then Marble might just be the perfect piece to complete your family’s picture.

Marble Foster Update – Waggy boy looking for his furever home

Marble has been an absolute delight in foster care and has settled beautifully into home life as an only dog. He’s living with two kids (10 and 13) and he’s been fun, social and affectionate with them. He has stayed home alone for up to six hours and greets his foster family with extreme enthusiasm when they return (reportedly full of happy hops and big stubby tail wags)

He has taken toilet training in his stride and will take himself outside when he needs to go. Marble also loves car rides and settles comfortably in the back seat without fuss.

On walks, Marble shows off his excellent leash manners. He loves to sniff, explore and gets adorably excited the moment his foster carer puts on walking shoes. He even knows exactly which house he is staying at; strolling confidently up the driveway after walks without needing any direction.

His foster humans have told us that Marble lives for meal times. Breakfast and dinner are highlights of his day. He twirls, hops, skips and wiggles with delight when it’s time. He’s a great eater who enjoys sardines, peanut butter, fruit, veggies and his spoilt treat of yoghurt with breakfast. He’s also a big fan of soft, fluffy toys.

Marble is a sweet, joyful companion with a gentle nature and a playful spark.

To set Marble up for success, his forever and foster homes would be similar environments, and include;

✅ Solo hound or canine company of any size

✅ Lots of yummy food!

✅ All house members nine years old or older
