Akoya is a truly precious little pearl, she is affectionate, friendly and sweet. Akoya could join a medium or large doggie ‘sibling’ who compliment her go with the ocean flow style. She simply hasn’t had much exposure to lil pups so she’s more comfortable with bigger companions. Akoya has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Because she can be unsure of sudden noise or boisterous movement she’d prefer a home where all humans are nine or older. However, she could join younger children if they are predictable and gentle. Akoya can stay home alone for up to six hours. With canine company and a consistent routine, she may be able to stretch that time. Akoya enjoys one or two 20‑minute walks a day before she settles into a doggie bed like a pearl resting in its shell. Akoya loves food, offer her a treat and you’ll see her eyes shine like polished pearls under soft light.

Shimmering with sweetness and glowing with affection, Akoya is ready to become the treasured jewel in someone’s home.
