Alfie is a friendly and affectionate lad with a big heart. Alfie loves to offer kisses to staff, volunteers or anyone lucky enough to be in his orbit. This boy could join doggie ‘siblings’ of any size, from small lapdogs to fellow tall, lanky companions. Alfie has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Because he can get a little bouncy when excitement bubbles up, he’s best suited to a home where all humans are 14 years old or older and can join in with his play. Alfie can stay home alone for up to six hours at a time. With canine company and a consistent routine, that may lengthen as he settles in. One or two 20‑minute walks each day will keep his tail wagging. With a bit of an independent streak, he’s also happy entertaining himself when the humans are busy.

Affectionate, loving and full of charm, Alfie is ready to become someone’s loyal companion (kisses included of course).
