Athena is currently in foster care learning all about pet life. They will be available once their foster period has been completed, but applications are welcome before that time.
Athena is far from a goddess of war and wisdom, more like goddess of snuggles and scritches. This wiggly girl has a heart as big as Mount Olympus and is yet to meet someone she does not instantly consider a best friend. Athena could join any sized canine ‘sibling’ if they matched her social and friendly nature. Athena has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats, so no felines in her pantheon. The little warriors in Athena’s home should be nine years old or older, as her enthusiasm can be a little bit too much for tiny tots. Athena loves to be a part of her human’s lives but could spend up to three hours home alone. With canine company and routine, this may lengthen. Like a stereotypical greyhound, Athena would love one or two 20 minute walks a day, but they might be a bit longer as she loves to give BIG wiggles to everyone she meets.
