August is a gentle friendly soul wrapped up in cosy hot cocoa charm. This lovely boy can be shy and a little unsure at first, preferring to take things slowly while he settles in. Give him patience, kindness and a little time, and you’ll start to see the sunshine peeking through the clouds and his happy friendly personality. August could join medium or larger sized doggie siblings as he hasn’t had much exposure to small dogs yet. August has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Because loud, boisterous young tots can feel a bit overwhelming right now, August would prefer a home where all children are nine years or older. With a canine companion August could be happy to spend longer hours without their people. If they are a solo hound, their preferred alone time limit is around three hours. Exercise is typical greyhound, one or two 20‑minute walks a day to explore the world at his own pace before returning home to his favourite cosy corner. The quickest way to August’s heart? Food. A tasty treat is like a warm cup of cocoa on a chilly day.
August may start out like a grey, rainy morning, but give him a chance and you’ll discover the warm sunshine waiting behind the clouds.
