Bonobo is a big, lovable goofball at heart. He brings a joyful, “swing through life” energy, always ready to be part of the action, offering help with whatever you’re doing (even if his version of helping is just standing very close and being excited). Bonobo would do best sharing his “tree canopy” with medium or large doggie siblings, he’s very friendly, just not quite used to smaller canines yet. Bonobo has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Because he’s a big boy and can be enthusiastic in his affections, he’d preferably join a home where all humans are nine years or older. That said younger kids could work if they’re comfortable around large dogs and don’t mind a friendly giant joining in. Bonobo could join full‑time workers as he has no problem staying home alone for more than six hours, settling in easily like he’s sunbathing in the Congo afternoon sun. Exercise is typical greyhound, one or two 20 minute walks a day will keep his tail wagging like branches in the wind.

Playful, affectionate and full of character, Bonobo is a big‑hearted boy who is ready to be loved.
