Capybara is a friendly, people social and cheeky little ray of subtropical sunshine. She’s got the warm and playful spirit of a samba beat drifting through the streets. Capybara could join large breed dogs or fellow greyhound, big buddies that match her rhythm. Capybara has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. She’d prefer a household where all humans are nine or older as she hasn’t danced much with small children before. Capybara can stay home alone for up to three hours, lounging like she’s at Copacabana. With canine company and routine she may be able to lengthen that time. Like a typical greyhound, one or two 20 minute walks will keep he tail wagging like a bromeliad. If you offer her a snack? She’s beautifully gentle, taking treats with the soft politeness of someone sampling pão de queijo for the first time. Capybara is working on socialisation skills with small sized dogs and their new home will need to continue their education into order improve their manners around small sized dogs.
People loving Capybara is ready to bring a little alegria, a little carnaval, and a whole lot of tropical heart to her forever home.
