⭐Special home needed ⭐

Cheshire is a gentle, sensitive boy who is looking for a home that can give him the patience and love he needs to bloom. He can be shy and unsure when meeting new people and prefers a slow introduction so he can build trust at his pace. But once he knows you, you’ll discover a truly sweet companion who enjoys affection and especially loves a good ear rub.

This lovely lad is already familiar with home life and has experience with the everyday sights and sounds of a household. He just needs the right environment to help him feel confident.

Cheshire could join doggie siblings of any size, as he is comfortable around other dogs and may benefit from a companion to help him feel more at ease. Cheshire has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. He would do best in a home with children aged 14 years or older, where everyone understands the importance of giving him a slow start and building his confidence. He could potentially join younger children if they were polite and dog savvy. Cheshire can stay home alone for up to three hours by himself. With a doggie buddy for company we believe he could do much longer hours. Exercise is typical greyhound, one or two 20 minute walks a day are perfect. He walks well on leash and enjoys quiet outings by his humans side.

Cheshire is a special boy who will truly shine in the right home. With patience, kindness and time, he’ll reward his people with affection and a whole lot of love.
