At ease! Colonel is a playful, friendly and social lad with a bit of a cheeky streak. This handsome recruit approaches life with the enthusiasm of a fresh cadet on parade day, always ready for action, always ready to make friends and always ready to ‘help’ in whatever task you’re doing. Colonel could enlist alongside doggie siblings of any size, from small scouts to large generals. Colonel has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Because he’s still learning proper toy etiquette and can get a little overexcited, he’d preferably join a home where all humans are fourteen years or older. With consistency and guidance, this eager recruit is sure to continue progressing through the ranks. Colonel can stay home alone for up to six hours as a solo dog. With canine company and training that time may be able to extend even further. Exercise is classic greyhound style, one or two 20‑minute walks a day will keep his tail wagging like a regimental flag fluttering in the breeze. One of Colonel’s favourite hobbies is strategically burying his toys like he’s hiding military secrets.
Playful, friendly, cheeky and always ready for his next assignment, Colonel is looking for a forever home where he can report for duty as a much-loved family member.
