Da Vinci is a masterpiece of a hound, he is easy‑going, playful, friendly and full of warm colours. He’s ready to paint your life and home with splashes of fun and love. This social lad could share his gallery space with a medium or large doggie ‘sibling’. Da Vinci has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Thanks to his sweet and unfussy temperament he could join a home with little artists as young as five years old. Da Vinci is also suitable for full time workers as he is able to spend more than six hours alone, snoozing like a painting drying peacefully on an easel. One or two 20‑minute walks a day are perfect for him, although they may stretch out a little longer as Da Vinci loves greeting everyone he meets. Sniffs, smiles and social moments are his favourite mediums. He’s a big foodie too, appreciating life’s tasty for eating rather than painting still lifes.

Playful, loving and beautifully balanced, Da Vinci is ready to hang proudly in the heart of a home that will love his hues.

Please Note: Applicants with young children will have priority in adopting Da Vinci.

Da Vinci Update – Masterpiece of a hound looking for his muse

Da Vinci received beautiful reviews from his foster humans and he is now ready to find his furever home.

He lived as a solo hound and absolutely aced transitioning into pet living.

He’s confidently spent more than ten hours home alone, and his foster humans reported that he successfully took toilet training in his stride.

Out and about Da Vinci enjoys his walks and likes to zigzag a little so he can check out all the interesting smells. He’s even met a few other dogs on his adventures, including Golden Retriever, and took it all in stride. He has also met a few children and adores the attention they bring.

In the home his foster humans let us know that this boy’s calm nature really shines. His foster carers described him as “such a chiller at home”.

Da Vinci is a total sweetheart who thrives on affection, his foster humans saying “He’s really smoochy and loves a good scratch. Very excited when we get home and loves a snuggle.”

Da Vinci is proving himself to be a loving and relaxed companion who simply wants to share life with his humans. He would be a becoming the perfect addition to the right the right home!

To set Da Vinci up for success, his forever and foster homes would be similar environments, and include;

✅ Solo hound or canine company of any size

✅ Lots of snuggles!

✅ All house members five years old or older
