Named after the Japanese god of fortune and good luck, this handsome lad brings plenty of good vibes with him. Daikoku is a playful, friendly, social boy who seems determined to collect as much joy as possible. Daikoku could share his home with doggie siblings of any size, from tiny Japanese Chins to mighty Akitas. Daikoku has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Because Daikoku can get carried away when playing, he’d preferably join a home where all humans are nine years or older. He’s incredibly friendly and means well but sometimes his excitement arrives faster than his brakes. Daikoku is suited to full-time workers and can stay home alone for more than six hours as a solo dog once he’s settled into a routine. Exercise is classic greyhound, one or two 20‑minute walks a day where he soaks up every interesting sight and smell like a tourist wandering through Kyoto during cherry blossom season.
Daikoku is simply enthusiastic about everything. People? Amazing. Walks? Fantastic. Life in general? The best thing ever.
