Dexter is a playful and friendly hound whose love for life as big as his heart. Whether he’s playing with toys, meeting new people or snoring in deep sleep he puts 100% into everything he does. Dexter has been working hard on his manners and is learning fast with gentle guidance around polite greetings and appropriate play. Dexter would love to have a medium or large sized doggie ‘sibling’ who could help show him the ropes of pet life. Because of his enthusiasm during play the humans in his home would preferably be nine years old or older. Dexter could comfortably stay home alone for more than six hours as long as he’s got a cozy bed and maybe a chew to keep him busy. While he’s more energetic than your average greyhound Dexter still appreciates downtime. One or two 20-minute walks and a couple of play sessions each day are all it takes to keep this happy hound content and snoozing the evening away.
