I have been living in foster care with another greyhound for the past month and have absolutely thrived. I could initially be a bit ‘insistent’ in my greetings of other dogs but have since learned to keep a more respectable distance and I think with ongoing socialisation I’ll only continue to improve.
I love going on adventures and would ideally suit a family who are happy to include me in their day to day outings and activities. Because of my love of people I would prefer a home with someone home more often or could be rehomed with a female dog (maybe medium sized so I don’t accidentally squish them when I try to share beds…).
As with all greyhounds I am a work in progress, I will still need further training, socialisation and maybe some management strategies to truly thrive in your home. The GAP team can provide you with lots of hints and tips to help me on my way but please be prepared to be patient and spend some time working with me.
