Flint is ready to bring a little extra warmth to your world. Friendly, affectionate and wonderfully social, this handsome hound has a personality that shines bright. This lovable lad absolutely adores humans and is always ready to turn on the charm. In foster Flint has been guided into pet life by fellow ‘hound, Valentine. While his pet life experience is alongside a large dog, he could join doggie siblings of any size, from tiny little embers to great roaring bonfires of the canine world. He has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Due to his size and strength, Flint would prefer children aged nine years and older. However, younger children who are confident and experienced around large breeds may also be suitable companions for this gentle giant. Flint’s carers report he enjoys welcoming house guests, lapping up the pats and attention. He’ll even bring a toy to them and ask for play time! Flint has mastered toilet training. One or two 20-minute walks each day will help keep Flint’s flame burning happily. He enjoys getting out and about, spending time with his people and taking in the sights and smells of the world around him. With a canine companion, Flint could happily spend longer stretches without his people. If he’s a solo hound, three hours is a comfortable amount of alone time. “Flint is a very confident, friendly dog. He loves to roach on his back in the sun. He’s started to play and loves to play chomp and wrestle with toys. He has been very quick to learn if treats are involved.” Flint’s foster carers say.

If you’re looking for a hound who will light up your home and keep your heart toasty with his loving nature, Flint may just be the perfect spark you’ve been searching for.
