Special Home Required

Genie is on the lookout for an understanding mature family who will let her go at her own pace. This old(er) dog prefers to stick to the tricks she knows.

Genie, female, born 05/12/2018.

Genie is a gentle soul who brings a little bit of magic into life. Calm and independent, Genie is ready to enjoy the quiet life, relaxing and snoozing the day away. Genie prefers peace and tranquillity to the hustle and bustle. She is a low-maintenance girl who would love to be a reassuring companion as her people go about their day. Genie is familiar with pet life and is ready to make herself comfortable as soon as she lands in her forever home. Genie would greatly appreciate a mature home, as the activity and boisterousness of children would be too much for her. Genie would prefer to be the only dog in a home but she could join feline housemates, having successfully shared her home with one before. Genie is a tripod, she navigates life beautifully and easily on three legs, but a bit of awareness goes a long way. Genie can stay home alone for up to six hours, with training and routine she may be able to stretch that time. While she wouldn’t mind a short daily walk, neighbourhood explorations aren’t high on her priority list.  She’s quiet content to relax around the home.
