Gimli is ready to pledge his loyalty to a new Fellowship, his furever family. He is a friendly and confident hound whose nature is as warm as the forges of Erebor. Gimli could share his kingdom with medium or larger doggie comrades that compliment his friendly nature. Gimli has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Gimli is best suited to families with children aged nine and up, simply because his toy-related zeal can get a little enthusiastic, like a dwarf swinging an axe. Gimli is content with one or two 20 minute walks each day, no quest across Middle-earth required. Gimli could stay home alone for up to six hours at a time and with canine company or training this could lengthen.
