Just as leggy and handsome, but not as tall as his namesake, Horse is ready to trot into his forever home. Looking for your new mane man? Horse is friendly, social and just the right amount of cheeky. Preferring his herd to be two-legged Horse would suit life as a solo ‘hound, but he is happy to have large doggy visitors. Horse has not been assessed as suitable to live with cats. Horse’s two-legged herd members could include those from five years old. Horse is happy to keep himself occupied for six or more hours while his humans are off on their own adventures. Horse has pet-life experience and so will settle easily into his people’s routines. Horse is a gentle boy who loves his walks and will provide loving companionship to his forever family. Don’t walk, canter on in to submit your application and adopt this sweet boy.

Our Adoption Process

Submit Your Application

The information your provide when submitting an application helps the team find your best match. This information can include other four and two legged members of the home, the length time the dog will be left alone and your desired temperament.

Match Making & Info Gathering

The GAP Team will review your application and may get in contact with any additional questions. From this information they will check through our available greyhounds to find your perfect match.

Meet Your Match

Check your emails for your perfect match's profile. If you agree with our team we'll be in contact to arrange "Meet & Greet" appointment at our Southern River Facility. All going well, the chosen doggo will head home with you that day. Had a different dog in mind? No worries, we'll find another pooch for your home.

Welcome Home!

As a part of the Meet & Greet the team will talk you through how to settle your new friend into your home. There will also be information sent via email ahead of the appointment and printed to take home. The GAP team are available to provide support during these exciting times.
