Our boy Isaah has big paws, a big heart, big personality, and big charm. This cheerful goofball tries hard to be your bestest boy but would benefit from continued manners work. Isaah could join a large doggie ‘sibling’ that compliments his playful and confident personality. Isaah has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. The little humans in Isaah’s home should ideally be nine years old or older because this lanky lad can sometimes be a bit too much hound for tiny tots (especially when the zoomies hit)! Isaah has no issues staying home for up to six hours as long as he has a doggie bed to snooze away on and some toys. This could be lengthen with canine company and routine. Like a typical greyhound, one or two 20 minute walks and play sessions a day keep his tail wagging! They might run a little longer, because Isaah likes to say hello to every human and interesting smell along the way. Isaah has an eye condition called Pannus, which is treated with daily eye drops and does not impact his quality of life.
If you’re looking for a dog with endless love and a little cheek, Isaah is ready to be a part of your life.
Isaah Foster Update | Birthday Boy Looking for His Forever Home
Isaah has been having an absolute blast in his foster home where he is being spoiled with love, adventures, and o plenty of treats (one of his favourite things!). This handsome boy just celebrated his 4th birthday with a party hat and special photo from his lovely foster humans and his birthday wish is for a forever home!
At home Isaah has successfully gotten the hang of toilet training and has been left home alone for four hours at a time. He loves his toys and will happily entertain himself showing off his playful and slightly silly side.
Isaah gets noticeably excited when you bring his leash out or put him in the car and get ready to bring him out for adventures! Out and about, he walks politely, although he does like to sniff the world around him.
Isaah has been thriving as an only dog, but he could also slot in with a household that already has a large sized canine. While he can be a little shy when first meeting new people it doesn’t take long for him to warm up, especially if there are pats and butt scratches on offer (he loves them). His foster carers have let us know that loud unfamiliar noises can make him pause but his confidence is growing each day as he learns more about pet life.
Isaah is blossoming into a wonderful, loyal companion and is ready to bring joy, silliness, and love to the right family.
To set Isaah up for success, his forever and foster homes would be similar environments, and include;
✅ Lots of adventures and car rides
✅ Opportunities for doggie group walks or meetups
✅ All house members nine years or older
