Otis is the kind of greyhound who makes friends wherever he goes, easy going, super social, friendly and wonderfully affectionate. Otis a true people-dog who enjoys connection, pats and being part of whatever’s going on around him. He would prefer to be the only dog in a home but could have doggie playdates and visitors of any size. The humans in Otis’ home would preferably all be aged 14 years or older, as his enthusiasm can bubble over into zoomie-style fun when toys make an appearance. Otis can stay home for up to six hours, with this expected to lengthen with routine and continued practice. Like a typical greyhound Otis just needs one or two 20 minute walks to keep his tail wagging! Our volunteers say he has wonderful leash manners and is a pleasure to walk.

If you’re looking for a friendly and affectionate greyhound who fits in easily, walks politely and brings a warm energy to the home Otis is ready to make himself part of the family.
