GREYHOUNDS

All the greyhounds we rehome are assessed to a high behavioural standard, generally shown by a green collar. Additionally, all our greyhounds are sterilized, wormed, vaccinated and microchipped. If you would like more information on adopting, fostering or fostering with the view to adopt, we’d love to hear from you. You can reach us on 9445 5399 Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.

Companion This greyhound can live with another canine friend.

Homebodies This greyhound would prefer your companionship most of the time.

Livestock This greyhound has spent time living with livestock and could be tolerant to a farm like environment.

Only Dog This greyhound could be the only dog in the home.

Time Alone Six Hours Plus We believe this greyhound could cope without human company for six or more hours.

Time Alone Up to Three Hours We believe this greyhound could cope without human company for up to three hours.

Time Alone Up To Six Hours We believe this greyhound could cope without human company for up to six hours.

Cats This greyhound has met or lived with cats previously and may be cat tolerant.

Small Pet Tolerant This greyhound has met or lived with small animals such as rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, etc. and may be tolerant to them.

Any Age Children We believe this greyhound is well suited to live with children of any age.

Children 5 Years Plus We believe this greyhound would cope well with children of five years and older.

Children 8 Years Plus We believe this greyhound would be suited to live with children of eight years and older.

Children 13 Years Plus We believe this greyhound would suit a home where the children were 13 years and above.

Available for Straight / Regional Adoption This indicates that this dog has lived in a home previously and is ready for straight adoption.
