Pretty Penny and her friendly, reliable personality would love to join a family who will help her grow and flourish. Penny has home life experience, enjoying time in foster care alongside two mature ‘hounds. Penny values canine and human friends so her forever home would need to ensure she always has company whether it be two or four legged. Penny is not confident enough to spend time alone but has managed extended periods with a doggy sidekick to relax alongside. While in your company, Penny is happy to enjoy her own space, snoozing on her bed or playing with a toy. Penny has displayed some anxious behaviours with specific sounds and so would enjoy a quiet, suburban home where she can relax. Penny’s perfect people would be calm, understanding and enjoy helping her settle in and grow in confidence.
Her foster carers say one of her cutest features is her folded ear which sits on her head like a hat! Penny also loves neck and head scritches. Two legged friends at least nine years old would be best for Penny. Penny could love alongside small or tall pooches. Penny has not been assessed as able to join a home with cats. With her pet life experience Penny has mastered skills such as toilet training, politely greeting visitors, and great leash manners. Penny would enjoy one or two 20 minute strolls around the neighbourhood with her people.
