Popeye is a big goofy goober with a tail that never stops wagging and the loyalty of a first mate. This social sailor would be happy to share his ship with a doggie ‘sibling’ of any size if they matched his playful nature. Popeye has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Popeye’s a strong lad and sometimes forgets he has long legs, so any little Swee’Peas in his crew should be 9 years old or older. With older humans who know how to throw a toy, he will love you more than spinach. Popeye has no problems being a lone sailor for more than six hours at a time, and will greet you with BIG body wiggles. Popeye does not need daring adventures across the sea, just one or two 20 minute walks a day and a play session will keep his tail wagging full mast.
