Don’t worry, this Tiger King comes without the drama, chaos, and questionable fashion of his TV Show namesake. Our Tiger King is a tail-wagging goofball who is more “documentary darling” than “true crime scandal”. Tiger King could share his “zoo” with a medium or large doggie co-star if they complimented his playful and social vibe. Despite the name no actual tigers or cats please, he has been assessed as unable to go to a home with felines. Rated G for Goofy, Tiger King is suitable for audiences nine years old or older, potentially younger if large dog savvy. He is a super human social guy but needs a home where all humans understand his play limitations. Tiger King is content to chill solo for six or more hours, likely sunbathing like a big cat waiting for his next cameo. With canine company and routine this time could lengthen. When you walk back through the door, expect wiggles and joy to rival a season finale. With exercise needs shorter than a bingeable Netflix episode, Tiger King just needs one or two 10 minute strolls through the neighbourhood to keep his tail wagging.

If you’re looking for a loyal, lovable leading man with all the charm and none of the suspicious disappearances, Tiger King is ready for his forever role!

Tiger King Foster Update | a (TV) star ready to shine in his home

Tiger King has absolutely been thriving in retired life in his foster home.

Tiger King is an old soul, perfectly content to snooze the day away and soak up the simple pleasures of home life. His foster humans say he is “suuuuuuuper easy going”.

He has proven himself to be the ultimate café and pub hound. He is the kind of dog who will happily settle by your table while you enjoy a coffee (and keep a hopeful eye out for the occasional sneaky chip).

He genuinely loves being out and about with his people but in a calm, relaxed social way that makes him an easy fit for quieter lifestyles. Tiger King has been spending time in foster care with a younger child without any issues. He is gentle, patient and seems more than happy to quietly supervise any shenanigans happenings.

Tiger King has been acing all aspects of pet life, including successfully understanding toilet training and being left alone for more than eight hours with no fuss at all. He is a dream for full-time workers. When his foster humans return home they’re greeted with full-body tail wags and big happy wiggles!

Tiger King LOVES LOVES people. He is incredibly social, affectionate and always ready to lean in for a cuddle. His foster carer describes him as a “biggest love bug”.

On lead he is an absolute star with perfect manners. He really only needs short, ten minute walks each day. In fact he’d much prefer hopping in the car for a café or pub outing over a long stroll.

He does have a funny quirk that he enjoys doing his morning stretches in front of the full-length mirror like a little daily ritual. He also prefers harder rubber chew toys, happily entertaining himself in between naps and cuddles.

Tiger King would be an incredible match for someone looking for a calm, low-maintenance companion, anyone wanting a steady and social little hound  for café catch-ups and gentle days out.

To set Tiger King up for success, his forever and foster homes would be similar environments, and include;

✅ Solo hound or medium+ sized doggie ‘siblings’

✅ LOTS of chewy toys

✅ All house members nine years or older
