Valachi is a gorgeous, friendly, and playful hound, whose sleek black coat is reminiscent of Italian suede. Valachi’s smooth and charming personality means he could join any medium or large sized canine housemate, paired up like a perfect wine and cheese. Valachi has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. The humans in Valachi’s forever home should be nine or older as he can be a bit zoomie and bouncy with toys. His favourite toys are soft toys or squeakers! Valachi has no issues staying home alone, lounging in his chalet, for up to six hours at a time. He most likely could handle full time hours if he had canine company. Alongside play sessions, Valachi only needs one or two 20 minute walks a day to keep him happy, healthy, and wagging away.

Valachi Foster Update | Set Up for Success and Waiting for Forever Home
Valachi’s foster carers have fallen in love with this sweet guy’s big eyes and affectionate nature. In fact, he’s become one of their favourite fosters so far!
Valachi has come along in leaps and bounds during his time in foster; mastering toilet training, relaxing around the house and politely greeting guests.
With a love for food, Valachi is easily convinced that being left alone is just fine if he has his treat! Valachi has happily managed up to eight hours without people, so would be perfect for full time workers and busy homes.
“His tail is out of control when he’s happy, whipping everything around. He loves just chilling around with company in the shed and is easy at night both inside and outside the house.” His foster carers say.
To set Valachi up for success, his forever and foster homes would be similar environments, and include;
An only dog home, although Valachi is social with medium and large dogs
A busy human who supplies treats/enrichment when they’re gone
A mature household
