Venti is a brew-tiful, full-strength, extra-shot, caramel-drizzle kind of boy. He is playful, confident, outgoing with a whole latte love to give. Already living with two fellow ‘hounds and having socialised with a variety of dogs in foster, Venti could join medium or large playful doggie siblings. Venti has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Because he’s still learning that smaller humans need a gentler touch, he’d prefer a home where all humans are nine years or older. He’d love to be someone’s play buddy! He’s incredibly friendly and wants to be everyone’s best mate but sometimes his excitement gets steamed up faster than a latte machine. Venti has been keeping his canine foster siblings company while his carers away for up to 10 hours. During his time in foster Venti aced toilet training (not one accident!) and is getting the hang of pet life rules. If anyone wants the appearance of a guard dog, but the company of a big softy, Venti is your guy! Exercise is a simple order; one or two 20-minute walks a day, served alongside a side of playtime. Speaking of serves, Venti absolutely mocha-vated by treats, the quickest way to this boy’s heart is through the treat jar. He even knows his name!

Foster Update | Venti is ready to pour himself into the hearts of his forever people
Venti is a big solid boy on the outside, a huge softy on the inside. This sweet guy wants nothing more than to be your best mate; he’s up for all the adventures and scritches you care to offer. Venti will bring his forever family lots of smiles and laughter with his goofy, endearing ways.
While living in his foster home Venti easily coexisted with two ‘hounds, became familiar with the horses, and learnt all about pet life. Venti’s foster carers describe him as a loveable, easy going boof head who kept them entertained every day. Venti never had a toileting accident, enjoyed relaxing during down time and loved his daily walks. Venti enjoys toy-inspired zoomies, bouncing the back yard and even performing the odd “Greyhound Cyclone”. If there’s a doggy pool on offer, Venti is a happy boy! He loves standing in them, cooling his feet and having a sip.
While relaxing Venti loves to demonstrate the Greyhound special, The Roach, typically with his tongue lolling out of the side of his mouth. Venti likes to show you how excited he is about your return by singing the song of his people. This only lasts until you give him welcome home pats! While in the company of his four legged siblings, Venti has happily managed up to ten hours without humans. He also has experience keeping himself occupied with Kongs, toys and snoozing for shorter stints.
To set Venti up for success, their forever and foster homes would be similar environments, and include;
