Waver is currently at TAFE, lending a helping paw to students learning about dog behavior, training, and medical care. He’ll be back and ready for his forever home in July. While he might not return with a degree, he will certainly have earnt a certificate as an absolutely good boy!

Waver is ready to splash into his furever home and pet life. He is a social, smoochy, snuggly, and go-with-the-flow hound that would make positive ripples in any home. Waver could swim with any sized doggie ‘sibling’ from small whitebait to blue whales. Waver has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Waver is a very polite, gentle, and affectionate hound so the little humans in his home could be as young as five years old. They could possibly be younger if they were dog savvy and used to large breeds. Waver enjoys being part of the family life and activities, but he could stay home alone for up to three hours. This could be lengthened with canine company and enrichment. Waver’s daily adventures do not need to be oceans in length, just one or two daily 20-minute walks before sinking back into his bed for a well-earned nap.
