Thank you for your interest in a greyhound who could live with young children! These greyhounds have been assessed as having potential to living with young children by their confidence, manners and general demeanour. While we don’t currently have greyhounds suitable to join young families, new dogs enter our program and are assessed several times a week. These special dogs are often placed in homes with existing applications without needing to be advertised. If you would like the team to consider your home when a suitable greyhound becomes available, we’d love to receive your application!
Wait times vary as the number of young child suitable greyhounds we have available can fluctuate, and we also consider other factors such as other resident dogs and animals.
