Zazu is a bold and bright‑spirited lad with all the confidence of the king of the savannah (or the loyal advisor). This friendly boy could share his pride with medium or large sized doggie ‘siblings’ who compliment his playful nature. Zazu has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Because he’s energetic, enthusiastic and loves humans getting involved in the fun Zazu would do best in a home where all people are nine years or older. Zazu is suited for full time workers as he has no problems staying home alone for more than six hours, basking like a lion stretched in the sun. One or two 20 minute walks a day are perfect for him and will keep his tail wagging like an acacia branch in the wind. Zazu loves loves LOVES toys. Whether he’s pouncing, tossing, or proudly parading them around like trophies from a successful hunt, playtime is where this lion truly shines.

Our Adoption Process

Submit Your Application

The information your provide when submitting an application helps the team find your best match. This information can include other four and two legged members of the home, the length time the dog will be left alone and your desired temperament.

Match Making & Info Gathering

The GAP Team will review your application and may get in contact with any additional questions. From this information they will check through our available greyhounds to find your perfect match.

Meet Your Match

Check your emails for your perfect match's profile. If you agree with our team we'll be in contact to arrange "Meet & Greet" appointment at our Southern River Facility. All going well, the chosen doggo will head home with you that day. Had a different dog in mind? No worries, we'll find another pooch for your home.

Welcome Home!

As a part of the Meet & Greet the team will talk you through how to settle your new friend into your home. There will also be information sent via email ahead of the appointment and printed to take home. The GAP team are available to provide support during these exciting times.
